I recently installed Microsoft Word 2002 onto my desktop computer from my Microsoft Office XP disk. This version of Word has already been installed on my laptop and i have had no problems with it. On my desktop i highlighted a word and right clicked to find a synonym and no matter what word i highlight there is always no suggestions. Word on my laptop does not have this problem and my old version of word never did either.... can someone please suggest a way to fix this.
Note: I do have the installation disk.

You didn't install the grammar tools. They are under another section in the install ( I think tools), they are not under the Word section.

Have you tried running an OFFICE AND WINDOWS Update by going to http://www.microsoft.com ? I think that the Office Update will help more, but try both...
