Title: About Ram stick

Hi all,

I come again there.I want to append another memory .My pc have Kingston 256 MB  DDR RAM (KVR400X64C3A/256).I want to upgrade 512 MB.My CPU  is intel celeron 2.20 GHz.
But I don't know what means  (KVR400X64C3A/256) and which memory stick should I install .How many kinds of memory?Pls guide me some instructions.

sounds like you have an older MoBo.  Do you have another expansion slot??   You could probably find another 256 in the dumpster and test it out but if your looking to put 1Gb in than you could get the Samsung or the hynix cheaper than the Kingston 512's

Travel to Crucial.com and enter the machine info and/or run the online scanner and it will tell you exactly what type and how much RAM can be added...
You can then shop around your area for the best deal.
