Title: Windows 7 eats too much of RAM
Post by: einars15 on January 25, 2009, 11:13:56 AM
I have 2GB of RAM and windows 7 32bit (build7000) eats too much of RAM. From 2GB free is only 1.1GB. I have disabled a much of services and superfetch and programms running in systemtray is power iso drive manager, cacheboost, SRS audio sandbox and skype.

Windows 7 is similar to Vista in the way it uses RAM to cache things.
This is perfectly normal, and disabling superfetch doesn't sound like a good idea to me.
