I have 2GB of RAM and windows 7 32bit (build7000) eats too much of RAM. From 2GB free is only 1.1GB. I have disabled a much of services and superfetch and programms running in systemtray is power iso drive manager, cacheboost, SRS audio sandbox and skype.

I have the same problem in vista but in vista i have free only 900 MB

Windows 7 is similar to Vista in the way it uses RAM to cache things.
This is perfectly normal, and disabling superfetch doesn't sound like a good idea to me.

Good read: http://www.codinghorror.com/blog/archives/000688.html
Applies to both, Vista, and 7.

Since i've had Vista and now Win 7 i feel much better about my RAM...cause it's getting used.
