Title: Won't load pass logon screen in safe mode

Hi!
When I try to load into safe mode, my computer will restart automatically after I choose either the admin or my account on the logon screen. What could be the cause? For your info, I'm using windows xp pro sp2. Thank you in advance.

What happens when you do not go for the safe Mode?

If you have the XP installation disk, try the repair option.  If done carefully and correctly, you should not loase any personal files or system files.

The repair option might not be available.  Read the followwing Microsoft article:

Before you start a reinstallation, please review these troubleshooting articles and review the following "When you should not reinstall" section to determine whether the reinstallation is necessary.

Thank you for your reply. Everything is OK except that it won't load pass logon screen if I reboot in safe mode.

Well, I'm going to read the articles you've suggest.. thanks again.
