Title: no bios screen on bootup

After reformatting hard dribe I reinstalled xp pro after virus attacked dos. After installing xp pro and restarting I have a blank screen and am unable to access anything.

I would suspect something went wrong with the re-installation. Can you boot in Safe Mode?  Tap F8 while re-booting.

less im misunderstanding. all you did is reformat using software, reinstall software, and reboot


 'delete' key these days at startup right?   and you cant get in there?    nothing but pitchblack screen?  This is after on, before "boot" where you can verify drives, boot order, etc.   'cant get in here?"
