Hi, guys how u doing?
I have a notebook (acer) based on windows vista, recently i changed to windows XP OS. right now the problem is i can't update the ethernet cotroller. the following controllers are
1. atheros AR5007EG wireless network adapter
2. NVIDIA nForce Networking controller #2
so, please guys i need your help? thank you very much

Do you have a recovery partition on your hard drive? I believe your Acer notebook would have had a recovery partition when you bought it. So, you should be able to restore the system to its original configuration. Then, try installing XP under a dual-boot configuration.
