Whenever I am playing a game on my computer iy suddenly logs off and closes down. Any help would be appreciated.

can you provide more info such as like if its been doing it. the machine type maker an such.

This has been happening for quite some time. HP Compaq D530 with windows XP Pro.

Please, post some computer info:
- processor type, amount of RAM (hold Windows logo key, hit Pause/Break key)
- hard drive size/free space (open "My Computer", right click on hard drive letter, click "Properties")
What game? What are the game requirements?

sorry i havent done that in a good while an noticed that every one does when this sort of thing happens its recommened.

Processor=2.67 gigahertz Intel Pentium 4
6 kilobyte primary memory cache
512 kilobyte secondary memory cache
Hard Drive= 40.01 Gigabytes usable hard drive capacity
10.58 Gigabytes hard drive free space.
The game I am playing at the moment is 'Azada' from Big Fish Games.
Can I also point out that the computer logs off for no apparent reason on several occassions even if not playing a game.

it would have been nice to mention that. Is that on a u3 sandisk? has your drives been scanned?

should show it during the post if you dont have the logo on.

An OAP is a person aged over 65 years. It says I have 1528MB RAM. I have AVG antivrus which does a scan evry day also a defrag program.

No I haven't run a maleware scan.
dxdiag= Prcessor is Intel(R) Pentium(R) 4CPU 2.66 GHz. 1528MB RAM.

Download, and install SpeedFan: http://www.almico.com/sfdownload.php
Post your computer temperatures:

Keep SpeedFan running, and start playing your game.
Watch temperatures closely, and see, if they change, when game is on.

Fan 1 34C CPU 34C
Fan2 39C Local 42C
Fan3 54C Remote2 60C
Fan4 41C HDD 40C.
The temperatures on the right are after playing the game.

Those look OK.
Navigate to: C:\Windows\Minidump folder.
If you see any .dmp files, zip all of them, and attach zipped file to your next reply.

I do not have a Minidump folder.

I definitely do not have a mindump folder in C:/Windows.

1. Click Start, point to Settings, and then click Control Panel (Start>Control Panel in Vista).
2. Double-click System.
3. Click (Advanced system settings link in Vista, then --->)the Advanced tab, and then click Settings under Startup and Recovery.
4. In the Write debugging information list, click Small memory dump (64k).
From now on, next time, the error happens, it'll create .dmp file, so we'll have to wait until the crash happens again.
