Title: Vista Hangs during install

Hello all: I replaced the hd in a Toshiba Satellite A200 laptop.
When re-installing Vista Ultimate 32, install loads files ok but hangs when it reboots to hd.
Tried known good drive same thing.
Formatted drive and tried to install xp; setup could not find drive.
Drive shows up in bios.
Anyone?

The A200 really doesn't work with Vista Ultimate very well.
It JUST BARELY meets the MINIMUM requirements. I strongly recommend not putting Vista Ultimate on there.

As for Windows XP, is this a genuine CD?

Also, what is the drive formatted as?
