Title: BIOS Refusing to boot Linux CDs

I'm not sure where to post this so I posted this here..
But basically, I had just installed Fedora Core 10.. updated it, then the updates screwed it up, so I started installing openSUSE, and the install failed, so now every time I try, it refuses to boot from a cd and immediately sends me to the grub> prompt.
It did boot a Ubuntu CD I put it, but then said ERROR READING CD, and rebooted and didnt boot from CD again.
I've tried tons of different CDs, linux and non, none work.

Check cable. Try a different CD drive. Check boot order in BIOS. Review CD storage practices. If a new build, review assembly quality, check RAM is compatible & seated properly.

Not much information supplied, hard to guess what it might be.
