Title: Listening to audio on the web

Every time I try to listen to a radio station or an audio clip from Amazon, the stream keeps breaking down after just a few seconds, then it tries to re-buffer, then it resumes for another few seconds, etc.
Now I do have a dial-up system and I realize that any streaming that I try to get may be compromised but I never had this much of a problem until I upgraded my OS to XP some months back.
Any advice will be greatly applauded!
