Hi
i have installed office 2003 in my vista i got the software from a friend and its been working fine for few months now its showing me the genuine office msg can i get rid of that?!
-
By buying a genuine licensed copy of Office, I should think.
-
i already have that

This is exactly what has happened on my dads computer.
His Office 03 has been working ever since he got the laptop. Just now, it is saying that it's not genuine.
Strange....

The installed Office 2003 may have a blocked Volume Licence Key, (VLK). This may be because the supplier of the computer had not paid Microsoft for sufficient number of licenses, or at all. In fact they may have been using a VLK that belonged to a different supplier.

Doesn't like Opera either.
Anyway, I won't say here what I think about WGA or how it intersects (or doesn't!) with my privacy concerns and strategies...
