what kind of computer specifications does it take for the sims 2 to run good on vista?

Microsoft Windows
OS: Windows 98/98 SE/Me/2000/XP/Vista
CPU: 800 MHz
RAM: 256 MB
Disc Drive: 8x CD-ROM/DVD drive
HDD: 3.5 GB free space
Video: 32 MB DirectX 9.0 and T&L compatible
Sound: DirectX 9.0 compatible

Any computer should be able to plays sims 2.

Note that those are minimum requirements.

For Vista, make sure you have a very good processor, at least a 2.4GHz single core with ~1.5GB RAM.

I think windows vista is good specification for your computer.

well i just got a new computer & it has 3GB of ram & a 2.1GHz dual-core processor so that should be ok, right?
