Title: Computer Startup Issue

Hi Computer Hope, a friend told me you'd be able to help me with my problem.

I am running on windows vista, and everytime I attempt to start it, it immediately goes to a blue screen.  This blue screen goes to a black screen asking me to choose safe mode or start normally.  I can enter safe mode but that gets me nowhere.  I am able to get on after restarting it about 50 times.  I attempted formatting my hardrive but it won't let me.  If anyone can help me or point out what I need to do, it would be greatly appreciated.

Obviously an OS prblem I think but I'm no expert. Have you read the other posts in this forum?

yea this belongs in the windows forum do you have a vista dvd? if so then you can do a sfc scan and that might help
