Hi to all
I'm trying to use PHP in dreamweaver 8, Is there any one know how to make a delete or update page??
-
This all depends on how you have coded your own php and database...
Do you have any more information? or source code?
-
Thank you very mucch custom-IT. I solved it finally, but I have a lot of problem. Actually I don't know how to codding, I just use the Dreamweaver. Now I'm trying to develop a website. Do you know how can I make relationship between tables? If you need any more info, let me know. TQ.

What database are you using?
-
Of course I use MySQL.

Dear custom-IT
I saw your website and as I understand you also work with PHP. I didn't visit all pages, but in first look, wow!!! It was exactly whatever I look for. Would you please help me to develop my website? TQ.

Custom-IT's site uses ZenCart. It is a free and open-source software available for download here: http://www.zen-cart.com/
;)

:o really? I'll try to use it. Tq so much...
-
No problem.
They are others though.
CubeCart (http://www.cubecart.com/)
OSCommerce (http://www.oscommerce.com/)
I'm sure there are more, but they are the more well-known ones. ;)

That it does... ;)
I have put in plenty of hours of customisation and effort though...
I can say that I've read up on, and used both CubeCart and OSCommerce too... I find ZenCart much easier to use and much more configurable. It also has plenty of support in their forums and i'll be on the lookout for any support queries on here too.

...back to the original topic, try these GUI tools for MySQL - they greatly simplify MySQL database administration...

Oh...
I'm so happy to find helpful guys here ;). Actually I'm a student and as a assignment I have to develop a website and I'm not sure I can use open source or not. I tried to vome over and I'm in the middle. I suppose I need your assistance to coding. I use dreamweaver behaviours for functions like signn in and ...but sometimes I need to program and then I'm in the *censored* ::)

I thought I replied to this... ???
Anyway...
I have to develop a website and I'm not sure I can use open source or not
Well, an idea - try using the open source software but, design a new template for it. Most of the software listed below has templates built in, so you can do some experimenting...
Joomla CMS (http://www.joomla.org/)
Drupal CMS (http://www.drupal.org/)
Mambo CMS (http://www.mambo-foundation.org/)
WordPress Blog (http://www.wordpress.org/)
SMF Forum (this one) (http://www.simplemachines.org/)
phpBB Forum (http://www.phpbb.com/)
Coppermine Photo Gallery (http://coppermine.sourceforge.net/)
I have plenty more if you want them..... ;D

Dear Kpac
I tried to visit your link suggestion. It seems great, but you know I'm not expert to use. I confused ::). As an example I opened
http://www.phpmyadmin.net/home_page/index.php
and I confused whereas there were several links and some buttons and I didn't know I have to download which one!!!!!!
May I ask you to guid me as like you guid one person who knows nothing ;). at least guide me how I can start from the first step. If you think I have to explain more about my objectives, just let me know.
Thank you so much.
-
You mean the links on the right side?
This is the one you want. (http://prdownloads.sourceforge.net/phpmyadmin/phpMyAdmin-3.1.3.2-all-languages.zip#!md5!91edb4620922188ca3b76a6490cdf3a0)
-

-
No, just click on my link above. :)
-
:( oK, I'm really sorry that I coudn't understand :'(.
Let me describe for you step by step what I have done.
After I clicked on 'This is the one you want.' , I downloaded and then extracked it. After that ??? ?
-
Sorry, I didn't notice this one. :)
Okay, I probably told you to download the wrong thing, especially when you're just starting off with all this stuff.
Download and install XAMPP (http://www.starlite-media.com/forum/index.php?action=downloads;sa=view;id=86). This will include everything you need to get going. When you have it installed, get back to me and I'll get your site going.

:D oh, your reply made me happy. Thank you. I installed it before.
