Title: URGENT HELP Power supply and hardrive wont stay active

hi i am wondering what is wrong with a computer i have. my questions are my computer froze and so i left it alone for a really long time like 21 to 3 hours and i came back to it started typing a paper and all of a sudden it just froze and so i left it alone for 2 hours came back and it was still froze so i just hard shut it down by holding the power button until the power went off. now my computer wont start at first cause the power comes on this it goes off again and i figured it was the disc i left in there so i was able to get it out without damage to the CD drive and so now the power wont continuously stay on it will boot but the power just cuts off and i was wondering how do i solve this little problem. its a gateway gaming computer and just don't know what to do.

Try changing your power supply and see if the power still cuts off.
