Title: how do you quote single sentences?
Post by: hot dog on April 22, 2009, 03:06:00 AM
In computer forums in general, or these forums for instance, how do you quote single lines of text or sentences, if you are quoting someone?  Anytime I highlight something and click "quote" it quotes the whole post instead of only what I highlighted... ???

I know there is probably somewhere around here that explains it :P , but I was just wondering if someone could just throw out a few hints.

Or, you could copy & paste the quote into a quote tag yourself. It won't have an author defined, so it's best to use only when referring to the post immediately preceding yours.
