Title: "sorry you have no video capture hardware" prob

hi mornin' im having this problem everytime im trying to use my web cam.. (sory, you have no video capture hardware) my os was windows xp home edition and the usb cam was TD998 usb cam... but before i was using windows xp im not having that problem using he same cam.. i dont know the problem..i already tried to removed and installing again the progam several times.. but nothing happend.. wish you could help me out...thanx

well im not really good with comp programs but everytime i opened my pc it always promed Microsoft XP home edition.( i dont really know wether it is still an xp or not) ???

I'm asking, because I had some impression from your first post, that OS was changed, and then the cam stopped working.
If it's not the case, did the webcam stop working just overnight?

well right after my pc was reformat the cam stop working.. i reinstall all the programs that was deleted after that,, including the cam.. but i cant use the web cam anymore.. until now....??? i also tried other usb cam and the result was the same..

Did you try to use the webcam on different computer?
What program are you using it with?

yes and it work on the other computer using the windows xp os

no dont see any errors on the device manager.. is it maybe because of the new os?

Honestly, I'm not sure what could be wrong with your webcam.
