I am running Vista Home Basic 32 bit. I want to delete "Napster". I go to Control panel - open Programs & Features - Right click on Napster - uninstall. I get a panel that says: "Setup.exe has stopped working". It also says I will be notified when the solution is found. Any suggestions about what to do to delete "Napster" except hope some answer is found? Thanks Bob

Try reinstalling it, and then uninstalling it again. It might be that the uninstall file or another component is corrupt and needs to be reloaded.
-
You could try going into the Napster folder and look for a "uninstall" file. It's probably on your C drive, Program files.

I have to agree with blockhead. This is a common problem. Re-install the most up to date version of Napster and then try uninstall.

You could try http://www.revouninstaller.com/

Good call Karnac but I would certainly try Blockheads way first then atleast there is no installing new software with possible mistakes. If that does not work then yeah last resort try the software.

Two methods...
Launch the installer and choose Uninstall instead of Install.
How do I uninstall the Napster Software from my PC?
If you are receiving an error message while trying to uninstall Napster, it may be possible that the installer files necessary to uninstall the program have become corrupt or are missing. To resolve this, click here (http://sms.napster.com/ns/install/) to use a new instance of the Napster software installer to uninstall Napster. When you are prompted to Save or Run, select Run. Once the Installshield wizard begins, you will be asked to either Uninstall or Repair the Napster application, choose Uninstall.

Thanks for all the replies. I am not too sharp but apparently when I tried to use the first method by evilfantasy I installed an upgrade. This allowed me to do an uninstall by the usual method. At least it appears to be deleted. Thanks again. Bob
