I heard that torrents are okay for the most part. The thing is that I know you can get back hacked cause you open a port. So are they real bad or anything, from what I hear.

The good that I've heard is that as long as the original file is clean, then if you have uTorrent, you won't be infected by seeders.

All torrents are bad. >:(

All torrents are bad. >:(
That's just being biased. Why do you think ALL torrents are bad?

If the torrents clean your fine. Make shure to read the torrent comments because they will tell you if there is a virus and what not. If theres no comments try to look elsewhere

I have never found a torrent I liked.
Yes, I have used them. Later came to dislike it altogether. J
Just too much risk.

To answer the question about opening ports, you can choose whether or not to open a port. And even if you do open a port, the chance of someone hacking you is VERY unlikely, near impossible.....unless you download a trojan that allows an attacker to gain access of your computer....

A good read on p2p dangers.
