Title: print random highlighted sections

I was wondering how to highlight random sections of a page to print ?

Keller..... open whatever you want to print from ......then use your mouse to hilight just the portion you wish to print. then go up to the file button and click on print ........then your printer options should open and then chose "print selection" ....that should do it .

Say I would like to print the beginning of a page, not the middle section, and include the bottom section on 1 sheet of paper.

Cut and paste... Hilight the top part, right-click on it, and select copy... Open microsoft Word, and right-click, and select paste... Next, do the same with the bottom section... Afetr, just print. You're done!  ;)

Keller.....So what you really want to do is create a new document using selected text from another ......

so open word to a new page ....... then go to the document you want and use your mouse to highlite the first part you want and then right click on the selected part and chose copy........ now open the blank word doc and paste in the selected info ....then go back and highlite the other portion you want and right click and copy ....go back to your new word document ........paste in the last part ......save the new document and then print it..........

I remember seeing my old boss printing (30) random sections of a 500 section document by highlighting the text/image that she wanted to print and pressing a key. Then when she was finished selecting, her screen was still showing the full document, with the highlighted selections. She then clicked print and print selection only and voila her 60 page doc was 4 pages with no copy & paste.

I read about this recently and don't remember from where.

I would ask my old boss if I knew where she was, plus the company no longer exists .

Oh. Well... That wasn't the best idea then... lol   Well... It must be out there somewhere.... I'll have a look around... I'll let you know if I find anything...

What application was your boss using?  Not Microsoft Word or Excel.

She was using a spreadsheet, unfortunately I do not remember which one, as this happened about 6-7 years ago.
