For some reason (what I did is explained in my last post in the above thread), my firewall is "Not Installed" on the security center window, but I can still access it. How can I fix this and is this a possible virus problem?

What firewall?

I think he means his ca firewall he posted in another thread. As I said before I vote for getting rid of ca all together

Explained in the link posted...

here's an Idea- instead of leading people on a wild goose chase for information, you actually provide it.

For some wierd reason, when I tried to block inbound TCP on my CA Suite's firewall, the security center says that the firewall hasn't been installed, yet I can access it via the task bar (on the CA Suite icon).
Thanks BC, I actually thought people were capable of clicking 1 link, and seeing the information for themselves...I guess I was wrong.

I won't speak for Evilfantasy, but it's a PITA to try to help somebody who insists on linking to other locations where the information is- even more so when time is limited. CBMatt is occupied with real life right now EF has to do all of this himself. the time it takes to click your link, find the relevant information is a sea of completely redundant discussion could be used to help somebody else who actually took the time to rephrase their issue in a manner suited for assistance, rather then some off-topic banter about some random issue their having that is more or less geared for speculation rather then intelligent hypothesis.

I'm not reading an entire thread to try and pick out one or maybe two words...

Ok...well do you know what could have caused this or how I can fix it?
