Why do you require a BIOS update?
Please DO NOT "flash" the BIOS without very good reason to do so! If the procedure fails, you may end up with more serious problems than the ones you're trying to solve!
Tell us more about what's happening.

I'm sorry...the p.c. does what?
OK, it turns off...how far does the system get? Does it show the POST (Power On Self Test)? Are you able to get into the BIOS settings?

OK, updating the motherboard drivers makes more sense than flashing the BIOS. You're having trouble finding the drivers?
Please post responses here. Personal messages don't bother me, but more than me will see if you post to the thread, and there are extremely knowledgeable people who will "jump in" to help.

Yeah having trouble finding the drivers online.

OK -- what brand of motherboard is that, please? If you mentioned it before, I missed it.

Flashing the BIOS is a terrible way to solve a software issue...
You've been warned.
