Title: win 95 wont start at all

hi i -got a computer with windows 95 that wont boot in any mode, the windows 95 screen will come up then it goes to it is safe to turn your computer off, then when i turn it back on it say that the krnl.exe file is missing then on another try it says  something about windows proctection error then shuts down can any one plz help me  

no i dont have any disk to that computer at all its a packard bell computer

Do you have virus protection? Any rescue disks made?
