Title: Reboot Repair problem with HP Pavilion DV6000
Post by: [email protected] on June 07, 2009, 08:37:22 PM
The computer is an HP Pavilion DV6000, a solid decently priced laptop computer.  Nowadays when I start it up after shutting down the normal menu shutdown way, it will automatically into repair mode, which takes several minutes, giving the reason that I didn't shut it down properly.  I did, so is there some other explanation?  A virus?  Or is there a command I can give it or a button to make it stop?  Because it slows down the process, it doesn't seem to do anything else ???

Any help would be appreciated  ;D
