Dear friends, I got problem with the game files. I am unable to uninstall one of the game files from my computer, and one of the game files are installed but invisible( since I found it when I start re-installing the program). Earlier , both the programs were running successfully but now they are not. I want to uninstall those files. I have tried it to uninstall from "Add or Remove programs" menu of control panel, but could not do so. Please help me, if u can.

Can we have some more info. (the game, where you got it, your system specs, files not removed and how you know they are there if there invisible.)
-
does invisible mean that you have the program installed on your computer (you can find it in program files or whatever directory you specified) but it's not showing up/listed in the ADD?REMOVE panel?

Hello friends, while booting, my computer stay for few seconds showing the line "Invalid BOOT.INI file, booting from C:\windows". What is that message ? Is the boot sector got corrupted by virus ? What is the remedial action for this ? I don't have any problem using my computer since the computer gets booted anyway through window. Please suggest what to do .

I suggest you start a NEW thread, with details of your computer and OS.

i usually delete the game folders manualy and then use cleaners (like CCleaner) which can find loose files/folders and cuz they don't respond to anything, cleaners mark them as unusable (same with registry) . Try this way of deleting games. ;)

Ccleaner should not be used to delete full programmes.

I don't use it to uninstall programs... I use it to clean up after uninstalling programs ... ;)

if I understand it correctly, what you do is you delete the games folder, and let ccleaner try to pick of the pieces?
This doesn't really work that well. The only pieces are probably in the registry, and the only ones it will fix are any file associations, since it only scans HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT, whereas games and applications usually store their data in HKEY_CURRENT_USER or HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE.

I agree with BC on that one.
Have you tried Revo Uninstaller (http://www.revouninstaller.com/revo_uninstaller_free_download.html)?

Maybe try the uninstall tool (http://www.crystalidea.com/).
