Title: Monitor adjusts H and V size/position by itself
Post by: bungmonkey on May 23, 2005, 11:18:53 AM
Usually it will go back and forth slowly and stop after awhile, but most of the time the size and position will be messed up making me manually change it back to normal. It might stop for awhile after this but it usually starts up again pretty soon. Any ideas?

I assume you have a CRT right? This usually happens when a program changes the default aspect ratios during a quick resolution change upon program execution. Many videogames alter the screen dynamics to compensate for certain code (as in OpenGL script) to optimize your experience. This can usually be fixed by patching the program that is actually causing the screen dynamics to change. Apart from that, perhaps your monitor is old? Cheers.
