Anyhow, I'd like to see Windows boot from a flash drive, the same way Portable Linux does. Unfortunately, such methods are prone to piracy....
Not a bad idea though, especially for people with netbooks or old computers (with only a CD drive).

Piracy? Where does piracy come into play? Flash installation same as CD installation, but just computer reading from different "location" so to speak.... :P

The same way you can download Windows illegally.

No... it comes into play if windows 7 were able to boot from the flash drive- you could easily duplicate that flash drive and use it on other PCs.
AT THE SAME TIME! GASP!
