Have you tried re-installing DOSBox ? ?
-
No that's my next option just checking if anyone had seen it.
-
Have you read the ReadMe file in the DOSBox folder, it tells you how to adjust the settings for DOSBox to avoid problems when running games?
-
DosBox did this same thing to me when trying to run an old game. For the life of me I can't remember what that game was. It was only that particular game as well. I'll dig through my old stuff and see if I can find which one it was and why it was doing it. Don't think I ever did actually figure it out though.
Do you get this with all games or just that one you were trying to run in your screenshot? (What game was that anyway?)
-
Its happening on all games. Up to now tried it on Moonstone, betrayol at Krondor and cannon fodder. All worked before, and before anyone asks all received legit.
Thanks for the help quaxo.
-
Hmm, interesting. I get the exact same thing (color wise) as you when I tried to run Moonstone, and it blinks. I've seen the discoloration before, never the blinking though. ???
-
Cannon Fodder worked fine. Don't have Krondor to try though.
I think X-Com Apocalypse was the game I had trouble with. Similar to Moonstone, just don't remember the blinking part.
-
Think it's worth re-install?
-
Probably not, but never know until ya try. I was able to produce the same thing with Moonstone, but not Cannon Fodder for some reason. To be honest, that alone has confused me. Can't think of why I would get the exact same problem with Moonstone as you, but not Cannon Fodder.

The thing that baffles me is why it did work and now it's not?? On both our computers.....
-
I'd say Google it and see what comes up, but I wouldn't even know what to search for to narrow it down enough to get the right results.
-
Just re-installed DosBox to no avail. It's going to have be a computer hope mystery. ???
-
Try adjusting the video settings on DOSBox, it shows you how to do it in the ReadMe file.
-
Where is the readme file macdad?
-
If you installed DOSBox into the Default Directory it should be this:
C:\Program Files\DOSBox\Readme.txt
-
Untill I re-installed that was never there but...

Untill I re-installed that was never there but...
So my idea was worth it.....even though it didn't work.

Did you read the ReadMe file?
-
Yeah no help.

Did you adjust the settings for DB like it said in the readme file?
