MY HARD DRIVE WAS DELETED.....
SO I RAN FORMAT.EXE AND ACCIDENTLY FORMATED
FLOPPY..OPPS...
NOW WHEN I TRY TO TYPE IN ANY COMMAND I GET THE:
DEVICE NOT READY-ABORT-RETRY-FAIL?
I HAVE NO START-UP DISC JUST THE INSTALL- CANT USE GET THE ABOVE MSG !!
HOW DO I GET TO A >prompt TO TRY AGAIN?

Either through Boot CD-ROM or Boot Diskette.

ok....well it was win2000-but there was missing files on it and that was a waste of time...
I am gonna put win95 on for now....
I used the 95 boot disc...ran the install/setup file:didnt work...
ran fdisk...and got this: "NO FIXED DISC PRESENT"
So i have a request in for the updated BIOS-CMOS....ect
for the cpu company...and once I get them i should be able to run another format...with a new startup disc...
SO IF YOU KNOW OF ANY OTHER WAY.....

it could be that your disc is formatted as NTFS for Windows 2000 and that as you are now trying to install windows 95 that operating system "win95" cannot recognize ntfs. you may have to get a software utillity to back format to Fat or Fat32
