You guys are older than me. Wiser and more experienced than me. I don't think there is anyone here who is younger than me, so this is about as good of a place to ask.
As you may or may not have read in my previous new topic, I am currently in a relationship with someone. I just came back from the same camp she did, except mine was longer. She really misses me and I need some ideas what we should do together. (movies, etc.)
If you're wondering, her name is Danielle.
-
If you're wondering, her name is Danielle.
I wasn't. ;)
You could always tell her about how much you know about computers!
Date over!
It depends where your at in the relationship mate if your holding hands then take a walk in the park if your kissing then find a bush in said park.
-
Dinner and a movie, or the movie first.
What are your shared interests?
-
It depends where your at in the relationship mate if your holding hands then take a walk in the park if your kissing then find a bush in said park. If your fondling then do not let her Dad see, if your bumping uglies then do not use the back seat of a car... so tacky.
LOL he's only 13! :P

LOL he's only 13! :P
Yeah sorry. I never noticed his age. :-\
-
As aegis said you need a common goal. What do you both like? Movies etc? Why not ask her in a secretive way what she would like then do that. Women (girls) like nothing more than Men (boys) who listen and pay attention.
-
Thanks for all the tips, but as carbon said, I'm only 13 and she's 12 (her birthday is 2 days before mine) so all the *censored* tips are 100% illegal!
So, I plan on asking if she wants to the new harry potter movie with me...nothing *censored*!
-

Not me! Just make sure you go to the movie early in the morning, and wait till everyone is gone. Thats all I have to say. Oh and show her your computer
-
Oh and show her your computer
What is that supposed to mean?
-
Nothing perverted if thats what your thinking ;D ;D ;D
No, really, im being serious, it means exactly what it says

should I turn it on too, or just show her a blank monitor?

That could be taken in two different ways. Love Innuendo.
What does she like? What are her hobbies?

(Besides computers)...

Just realized what that could have meant and laughed...

Well, this thread went to the ninth ring of Hades and back in the proverbial handbasket. Thirteen and twelve. At this point, being in one another's company should be quite sufficient. Movies are good because then you can talk about what you saw. (Transformers 2 being the exception -- how anyone might have an intelligent conversation about that is beyond me.) Sharing time at the local parks, local attractions. Walking through the mall, if you have, window shopping...people watching...you can learn a lot about each other, that way.
Of course, I trust your parents (both sets) have a considerable amount to say about this.
-
It took you long enough LOL. I rofled at the thing about the blank monitor

I'm trying to turn down the sick-mindedness...for her sake. She isn't sick minded unless it's pretty obvious.

"Mommy, Daddy, I met this pretty lady at the drugsto"
"It's not that Ms. Hooverstein again is it? I've told you, she isn't into you"
"No No! She is, we went to her house, and you know what we did?
"no. But I think I have an idea."
"we played this awesome game, it's called Monkey Monopoly! It's awesome! there's this monkey, and he knows all the rules, and he wears this Pennybags getup, it's hilarious, and he puts the hotels and houses down for us, and brings us chance cards and everything, it's awesome!"
"err, ok, nevermind, son."
"and after that we played Monkey Checkers, and then we played her Monkey Island video game! It was great. "
-
Very funny. ;D ;D
I'd never say Mommy and Daddy though. But next time I phone my parents I'll include the game just to see what reaction I get...
I even researched a box your game/slash monkey can come in.

Who tells their parents about this stuff?
This is in reference to their respective ages: twelve and thirteen!! They're still children! Adolescents, and on the cusp of young adulthood, but still children!
Yes, this is the time in their lives for them to get to know the opposite genders -- I've no truck with that, but if the parents aren't involved at some higher levels, shame on them!
I'm not stating that the children have to tell every last detail, but if they were my children at that age, they'd have their freedom within certain rules and limitations.
LOOK AT SOME OF THE THINGS POSTED IN THIS THREAD -- for a twelve and thirteen year old.
Our societies have robbed children of their childhood -- they're forced to grow up too soon -- and we think we're clever.
I see the jokes continue, with no taste, so I'm gonna quote someone certifiably funnier than me -- Eddie Murphy:
"Ha, ha - very funny! Your mother got a wooden leg with a kickstand!"

Probably just a walk along the beach, if the weather cooperates. Maybe glow-in-the-dark minigolf (but I need someone to drive us, my mom's fiance could...)

Sounds cool. I'd drive you but it would mean getting a plane over to America.

Must be great having a beach near you Helpmeh. I may have to move closer to one. My brother lives in sydney Australia just a 2min walk from a beach. Very romantic on a date.

My bad. Still a long way away. :D

computeruler--your at the beach every day! On your boat! Take Danielle on a boat ride if possibly. If you don't live by a large body of water, make it a weekend trip to go find one. But don't push her overboard. Trust me...They don't like that very much..
