Title: all systems go but still NO Internet
Post by: Peterwolfe on August 04, 2009, 03:33:49 AM
Have tried wireless access via en existing router in the house...but just sh...

Using a D-Link adapter 510G all shows that i am connected to the router(great signal, 54 mbps etc, all greatly OK), ipconfig/all gives all the data in a correct way, pinging my Ip and the gateway gives 4 packages send, none lost, the wirelessicon says:you are connected now...but than connecting to the Internet gives only a suggestion to use the MS Diagnostics which can not find any errors but still NO Internet neither on IE nor on Opera....

Have XP+SP3, AMD Athlon 64, 3200+, 2.2Ghz, 3Gb RAM, IE and Opera(will use Opera as this Internet thingy has been fixed by you guys...lol), D-Link 510G adapter 802.x?????l,b, or g...AVG antivirus, malwarebytes... ??? ::), so what now?

You need to connect your router to the DSL or cable modem.
