Title: Mobo / Video Card Question
Post by: JediBob on August 22, 2009, 07:02:16 PM
I have an asus motherboard (M3A78-EM) that supports native DDR2 1066. I'm looking at a video card that has onboard DDR3 (card is PNY - NVIDIA GeForce XLR8 GTS 250 1GB DDR3 PCI Express Graphics Card). Will this card work in my computer?

Yes.

That motherboard can handle that video card.  The motherboard doesn't really care what type of memory is in the video card.  As long as you have a PCI-E x16 slot open, you can install it.
