I was wandering. The laptop im on right now has vista and was thinkin bout puttin windows 7but  on it was wandering how hard it would be to down grade it if i didnt like windows 7. The laptop is more less my little playtoy so yea......THanks...

Create an image of your system partition with an imaging utility before changing the OS and you can always revert.

ok ..thats cool...how would i do the image of my os? i forgot how to do that.. i have  my restore discs..could use them?

Using a Restore CD will wipe your data...
For imaging i highly suggest Acronis True Image...though it's not Free.

Macrium Reflect has a Free edition and it works rather well...

aahh.. that sux.. i didnt wana pput it on my desktop and just got this laptop workin again.... i may just do some diff. stuff on here lol mess around with the laptop for a little...see what little upgrades or tweeks or what ever are out there lol

which computer is it? if it's an assembled one..probably you can create a partition and install windows 7 on it...and if you dont like it you just have to format the partition on which you installed windows 7.

The OP can't do that unless he already has the download.  The RC isn't available for download anymore.
