Title: web pages not filling monitor screen

all pages brought up on the screen leave a 2" gap down each side i can expand to 125% and fill it but i have to do it every night

I have to agree your first post was fairly self-explanatory :). Did this just start? What happened between the last time everything was normal and the first time it wasn't?

ADG , I have to agree your first post was fairly self-explanatory , yes

i have got a new 24" flat screen monitor it was normal on the old monitor

why would that matter , 2 different sizes 2 different makes 1 modern 1, 5 years old


Ahhh. Okay, did you install the driver for the new display?

there was no disc with it or instructions had to set up blind

the res matters because it maybe doing aspect compensation
because without knowing it you be running something for example
1280x480

I'd think there'd be a driver. See if you can find one online for your display.

i think its no3 i need to increase

You're not connected via DVI? Then yes, go ahead and change the settings to taste per res - most displays will remember each res setting and adjust accordingly.

i tried that , windows  page and tool bars fills the screen but yahoo leaves the 2" gap , ch page fills the screen would it just be a yahoo thing
