Thanks, and, you'll have to hold off on that for another year JJ, I'm only 20. As for the van, yeah, it runs, but I've probably scrapped the idea of buying it from my grandma. I am, however, going to get a 50CC motorcycle to get back and forth to work on 'til i can sort out getting my license, and a car. I'm probably going to go with a junkyard special for around $200-400, may need work, may be fine for a while, may need a miracle to fix. Either way, I want to find a early 80's Oldsmobile cutlass. Nice car, fits me, I'll set it up with a Oldsmobile 307 5.0L V8,  a three speed automatic with overdrive, posi rear diff, aftermarket racing grade suspension and brakes, factory 15" rally wheels, probably paint it black. It'll be nice, I'll drop a aftermarket high performance carb on the 307, replace the pistons with aluminum ones, find some HO heads from a 1986 block. It'll be sweet, it'll take a few years to build though. Gives me time to work on getting my license.

Oh, here's the 50CC motorcycle I'm getting

and here's some info on it:

http://www.roketa.com/product/2628/0/27651.shtml (http://www.roketa.com/product/2628/0/27651.shtml)

Its a Roketa MC-56, legally it has to be "under" 50cc to be a moped, but I don't really care. The police around here will shoo away when I say its 49cc. I plan to get me a new black denim jacket soon, so I should be fine riding in the winter. It rarely gets below 30 here in the winter. Heck, Christmas of 07, it was 70F out, and this is the state of Virginia, not Florida or something.

For some reason I thought you were down around Roanoke. I could have sworn you said something about working at a computer shop there. Roanoke is about an hour or so away from my house. It gets *censored* cold here in the winter! Right now it's 56 outside and it's only the first of September.

Salem, actually, from Roanoke County though. Heh, maybe when I get that motorcycle I'll have to bug you. Anything is better than sitting around here and I love traveling. The weather here is bizarre, I don't know if its the mountains or what. Its just strange, really strange. Currently its about 65F according to wunderground. If your from Eastern VA, or the east in general, your closer to the ocean, air is colder out there. I noticed that when I went with my father to Petersburg to pick up a ceramic kiln with him. Still snow out there, here? HAH! It was like, 60F here, and only about 40 over in petersburg. That was in uh, 2008, late 2008. Or early 2009? Gah,  I don't know. Whatever the case, that was an eventful journey. Found out his 1986 Oldsmobile custom cruiser still has no problem getting up to 80+MPH. We took route 460, I think people confuse it for the Autobahn. Speed limit is 70-75 and there doing 95+MPH. We did 75-80 nearly the whole trip and they where passing us like we where standing still. Another thing, eastern VA also lacks road signs. I don't know if people steal them or if they ever existed, but  my father and I got flat lost out there.

Oh, forgot to mention, I'm buying a 5" Tanto blade Ka-Bar fighting knife soon with the money I got for my birthday. This knife:

You have to watch on 460. There are speed traps. There are several places where the speed limit drops to 45 or 50 for a few miles while you are going through certain parts.

Anyway, that's a cool bike. I really like the paint job and the front wheel. What's the top speed on that thing?

I think around 60, "legally" i can't go over 35, but I can just play stupid with that law. I had to dig to find it, and I doubt the cops even know it. If you notice, the link says "Terminator Motorcycle" in it. Quite funny, a terminator wouldn't use that thing. It only takes about 388LB's. I hope the front wheel isn't flimsy, it kinda looks it. If it is, I think I can get a replacement. The only thing I don't like about it is that it doesn't have a cargo box like mopeds, but mopeds cost as much as it, more usually, so its good.

Here's a video:

Roketa MC-56 (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eDDG0hfcmIQ)

And if I can't get one in black, I'll get in blue like this:

That reminds me of the first guitar I ever had. I got it for Christmas when I was 13. It was a "Terminator". It was really crappy but I loved it. It had a little speaker built into the body and it was powered by a 9 volt battery.

Anyway, you could just get a backpack to carry your stuff while you are riding.

Happy Birthday and good luck on the bike. Watch out for the crazy people though not paying attention to bike drivers, know of a few people who've died in bike accidents.

Yeah, I'll use my laptop bag, its a bookbag, as for the crazy drivers, i'm gonna find out if its battery is 6V or 12V and get a horn for it. I'll have to wire it. I assume the bike has a standard ground, if that's the case it'll be easy to wire.
