Title: Cheapest Mobile Broadband Netbook/Laptop?
Post by: stefun999 on August 30, 2009, 11:25:39 PM
Although I will be getting an Acer Aspire One netbook I would like to know what the cheapest laptop/netbook is with built-in mobile broadband such as http://www.frys.com/product/5822333?site=sr:SEARCH:MAIN_RSLT_PG
Just curious.

Did you mean new only? If you want cheap, buying reconditioned used laptops with a warranty is the way to go. (My Opinion.)
Both Dell and HP reconditioned laptops are being sold. Look for a good warranty.

Personally, I have have good results with two used IBM laptops. But at the time they were not cheap. Now the price of used laptops has come down a lot.

Somewhere I saw an Apple G3 notebook  for about $160. Small screen, but a great value!

And there is the new "netbooks". I do not have any thoughts on this. Below is a blurp about a very new netbook for about $800.
