Title: Black screen with message

My daughter's computer would not shut down, she had recently installed a web cam, so she unplugged the web cam and manually turned off the computer. Everytime we turn the computer on now, we get a black screen with white letters that say - Please report this problem as: load needed DLLs for kernel. I have no idea what to do. Can anyone help in very simple terms? I'd appreciate any help I can get.

Power off the computer.. Turn it on and immediately tap F8 until you come to the Advanced boot menu...

Select "last know good configuration" and see if it will boot..   ;)
