Title: Blocked access by Host File

I have added a number of adresses to my host file, and it works very well. Most efficient content filter I have ever seen.

I am wondering; is it possible to have the browser display a [custom made] error message in the form of a webpage rather than a simpel error that tells the user the computer was unable to establish contact?

What a good idea  :)
I guess instead of looping the site back to 127.0.0.1 you could loop it to anywhere you wanted to on the net & probably even to a html file on the computer itself.
You could write your own scary message to guarantee the user would never try and access that place again.  ;D

UPDATE:
HMMM? It looks like you can only redirect to an IP number.

If you host a webpage on your computer, would it attempt to access that rather than display an error when connecting to a forbidden website?

I recall learning how to host a webpage from your own computer through certain Windows XP Professional components that needed to be installed seperatly. By typing 127.0.0.1 in the adress bar, it would access that page.

Would anyone care to fill in the gaps?
