Title: Can't Change Color Setting!

I can't get my monitor to change from the 16 color setting or get off the 640 by 480 pixels setting!! None of my prgams will run right! The Display setting bar for screen size and color will not move!! What can I do? I can barely read this page right now! HELP!

Check your video drivers.
Right click on my computer and select  
properties>hardware>device manager and look for display adaptor.

1. Obtain name of videocard
2. Install correct drivers

It says I have the Standard PCI Graphics Adaptor (VGA)
and the best driver is already in use, so I can't change it. But I need to change it!

type dxdiag in the run box......that if you have directx....have you??or right clcik on desktop///properties/settings/advanced/adapter....this should show what graphics is used....or type msinfo32 in the run box.....or use this>>http://www.active-hardware.com/english/misc/sandra.html
