Title: hp computer boots to dos only

92 yr young mother has 90's Hp computer, locked in dos screen. Won't boot windows. Any help appreciated. ???

What prompt does it show on the screen after booting " "

A: or C: ? ?

If C: type in CD\Windows and hit Enter...at the C:\Windows prompt type in Win and hit Enter.
