Good morning! I'll get right to it. Generally when I get emails and wish to forward them, I will clean them up and get rid of extraneous forwarded addresses and other annoying tags at the bottom. This I do by clicking on FORWARD and then highlighting and deleting. However, there are times when there are vertical lines remaining on the left side and sometimes no matter what I do I can't seem to backspace and bring the body of the email to the top of the page. And of course there are those >>>>> things that are a pain to get rid of one by one. I stumbled across this website that lists lots of programs to clean up emails, but I am leery of downloading something that I have not idea whether it is a real program or a vehicle for a virus. This is the website and I was wondering if any of you employ any of the programs that are listed at this website: http://email.about.com/od/windowsemailcleanuptools/Windows_Email_Cleanup_Tools.htm
Thanks for your interest............02bin3

Tell us what you use for email. Is it Outlook Express?

I am using the free AOL. Thanks

Well, I'm not familiar with AOL, so I won't attempt to answer your question. But, standby, someone will probably have some suggestions on this.

Works well...and the price is right.

Thank you, Patio, for your input. It is not the first time you have come to my rescue. I will try that and see how it works out with AOL.
