Title: Firefox suport by Comcast
Post by: rthompson80819 on October 14, 2009, 11:51:08 AM
RANT ALERT

Since I started using Firefox, I almost never use IE.  Comcast is my ISP.  Every now and then my Comcast email goes down for a day or two.  I'm not a heavy email user so it's not a big deal but I finally called Comcast to find out why email was down and was told that they don't support Firefox.  I switched to IE and logged into Comcast email without a problem.

It's irritating for Comcast just to say it's not our problem.  Is anybody else having these problems?

Install ThunderBird and follow ComCast's info on setting it up and your issues will dissappear.

They've been doing this forever, lazy bastards. It used to drive me nuts, but I don't even bother to call Comcast anymore.
I don't recall a single instance, when they were able to solve any problem over the phone and it's always something wrong on my side...
