I just installed a dual boot of xp and 7 and my internet is very slow in windows 7. I have tried alot to fix it. I got the latest drivers, turned off automatic updates, turned off remote differential comparison. I also typed netsh int tcp set global autotuninglevel=disabled in command promt which actually made it normal for a little, but it then went back to slow shortly afterwards. My download speed in 7 is 30 kb/s and in xp its around 300 kb/s. My wireless is a usb-G802. Although the funny thing is that in 7 my signal is much better and I pick up more networks. I like windows 7 a lot more then xp, so any help would be greatly appreciated.

For reference, what is your Dload speed when you tie straight to the router with a cable? If it is about the same as XP, then that could mean an issue with the wireless driver in Windows 7.

Well the router is in my moms room so I can't really hook it up.

Why have you made all those random network settings changes ? ?
Remove the network connection and start over...
