This week I upgraded my desktop from Vista to 7.
My wireless always worked flawless with Vista, but 7 is giving me problems.
It sees the various networks in the neighborhood, and when I select mine, I need to enter my passphrase.
When I enter it it says that its not correct.
On my Vista laptop I enter the same passphrase, and it works fine. Same as with my desktop when I had Vista on it.
Does anyone know what this can be??? Help will be very much appreciated :)

Do you have a key for the encryption that you need to enter?

Do you have a key for the encryption that you need to enter?
Is what you mean the same as the passphrase?
-
Yes, by key I mean passphrase.
-
Yes I do have the passphrase. It's my router, and I use the same passphrase for my Vista laptop.

Perhaps you forgot to setup the passphrase on the Desktop machine...
It's not going to automatically see it just because it's on the laptop...
This is by design.

Uhmmm no I didnt forget to set it up.
When I select my wireless network on the desktop, it asks me for the passphrase.
I than enter the passphrase (the one I created when I set up the router) and than I get a message saying that the passphrase is incorrect. However, when I connect to my network with the Vista laptop, I enter the exact same passphrase, and it connects.
Remember, it connected fine to the wireless when I had Vista on the desktop. It changed after I upgraded to Windows 7.

Ummmm since you changed OS's it needs to be setup again ...from the beginning.

What needs to be set up again? The router or the desktop?

Your connection...
