Title: Minimizing program icons

This is probably a simple fix but I can't figure it out...I have Windows XP and someone one of the users profiles we have set up is messed up.  When this one user gets in and opens a program and then minimizes the window, it does not appear in the task bar.  Nothing we have tried will get the "open" programs to show up in the task bar.  Any ideas?
