Hi all,
My Dell computer has decided to fall out with all epson printers that I have. When I ask it to print something it takes about 30-40 seconds to start printing?(It didn't used to do this!!) Now I know this might not sound long to some people but trust me its a pain in the arse for what im doing.
Does anyone know any tips to make a printer print straight away?

You say it used to start printing more quickly. What's different since then (new hw, sw, etc)? Have you checked for a new printer driver? If not, have you tried uninstalling and reinstalling the printer driver?
-
Also check the connection from your computer to your printer(A loose or internally deteriorating cable may cause delays, although highly unlikely, but still a possible factor)
Provide the following:
- Connection to your printer
- Model of Printer
And Allan's questions(Sorry if I'm stealing your thunder)

Tried that one with no change. Do I need to uninstall any old drivers?

Its connected via a USB cable and the printer is a Epson stylus D92
I haven't looked at the cable yet I will give that a try to.
Cheers

You tried WHAT - a new driver or reinstalling the old driver? And as for the cable, unless your dog chewed it or you keep rolling over it with your chair, don't worry about it.
