Title: reselling motherboards??
Post by: computeruler on January 03, 2010, 12:07:22 PM
I can buy some motherboards for really cheap.  They are untested though, and some have bent pins.  I was thinking about buying a bunch, testing them and selling them for more.  What do you think?

Wasn't there and old proverb something like "A fool and his money are soon parted" all though I see many advertised on Craigslist around here. Your dime ;D

Have you looked at the price of used motherboards on ebay? or the new prices on newegg? They would have to be high end , bought super cheap and sold super cheap. Personally if I'm going to go through the trouble of motherboard installation I want to know I have a good one with a warranty.

They are just too hard to win.  The wons that are worth it anyways. I tried, but I guess people put a higher maximum bid or something.  Ive tried all the way up to $21 for a 790i.  Its not worth the risk.
