Title: ATI 5670 question

Hi all, I was considering buying a second 8800gt to SLI in my i7 920 and came across a few cards that got me thinking. One of them is a ATI 5670. I compared my 8800gt 512 to it and here is a comparison

I then started to read benchmarks of it versus a 9800gt 512 (basically same as a 8800gt 512) and it came in significantly under the 9800gt 512. Given the faster memory ( like double) and core clock, but lower texture units and raster operators, why is this card so much slower? Is It the GPU?

Not sure where your reading those benchmarks from but their off by quite a bit...
