Title: "switch users not working"

 hp computer,xp home,512 memory processor 2.08ghz
Hi,
 "switch users not working"
All of a sudden I got 3 things that don't work.
1. switch user quit working
2. system restore won't restore
3. task mgr won't show accounts
I tryed last known good configuration

First I'd say check into the malware forum here at CH for a virus cleansing here. (http://www.computerhope.com/forum/index.php/board,7.0.html)  ... Read the pre posting instructions

If malware doesn't seem to be the case here, there's a few other things we can try...  But first things first, we need to address the possibility of malware in the system otherwise we might be chasing our tales

Is Fast User Compatibility turned off in services .msc ? ?

Thanks guys,
My problem was the terminal service and switch users
were disabled.Now the select login and log off options
does stay checked.I think the restore system will workalso.The restore options have been deleted.I need to make new ones.[don't know what I did to have this happen.My user name is working to.Thanks again for the help

Question is...who's been in there foolin around with disabling services ? ?
