Does it work on other machines ? ?
If so on a working machine see how it shows in Disk Management and report back...
If not check to see if there is a small micro-switch on it...these are for security but not all flash drives have them.

Hello Patio,
The flsh drive works fine in other machines, I have try around 5 differents flash drives same thing.
On Disk Managment only show the CDRom drive, nothing else. this is the same in all the different brand of flash drives.

One other question please. Did this problem just start? Were you ever able to connect a usb drive to this system? Are there any other problems with the computer?
-
Yes good question, I got a virus like 3 month ago, that put a warning banner on the middle of the desktop mention about the infection... I run my spyware program, & never saw it again? you think is some traces of the infection?

You could have saved a lot of time if you'd mentioned that first. Please go to the malware section of this forum and follow the instructions at the top of that page.

Also you did not answer how the drive shows up in Disk Management in a machine it works on...
Right clik it and select Properties and report back with what it says...

Here is what I see in the Disk Manager & Device Manager.

What part of right clicking the drive in Disk Management and selecting Properties is hard ? ?
Also an empty Disk Management window as is seen from your shots is a bit more troubling than a non-working flash drive...
